Gina’s late-summer senior session in Detroit was the perfect blend of soft golden light, timeless style, and effortless confidence. From the iconic architecture of the Detroit Institute of Arts to the romantic gardens of Belle Isle, every location told a different part of her story.

Gina had a beautiful late August senior session in Detroit. It was the most beautiful evening spent with her and her mom. We first started her senior session at in Downtown Detroit on the grandiose steps of the Detroit Institute of Arts. The beauty of the white building helped Gina’s outfits stand out and showcase her style and personality.

We then hopped on over to Belle Isle and started off her portraits at the Belle Isle Casino. This was one of her tops spots she wanted photos at and just by our luck, the casino was back open for portraits after almost 2 years closed for construction. It was such a joyous moment when we realized!

We then proceeded to portraits at a beautiful garden on Belle Isle, this is the perfect spot for photos with flowers. You can even get photos with the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory in the background. After doing some beautiful golden hour portraits, we chased the sunset. We ended her amazing senior session on the beach with the view of the Sunset and the Detroit Skyline in the background.
