Some of my most cherished memories come from family vacations—standing at the edge of the Grand Canyon, exploring Costa Rica, wandering through Yellowstone—always with my mom nearby, quietly documenting everything. She captured the laughter, the stillness, and the in-between moments with my grandpa and our family.
Today, those photographs are priceless.
With loved ones gone and life pulling us in different directions, those printed images hold immeasurable meaning. They bring me back to warmth, connection, and love in a way nothing else can. They preserve not just what happened, but the feeling of being there.
That understanding is the foundation of my work.
Photography, to me, is not simply about creating beautiful images. It is about preserving connection, honoring legacy, and creating something tangible that can be held, shared, and passed down. My connection to photography began long before it became my profession.
Some of my earliest memories are rooted in photographs—quiet moments from family vacations, laughter shared between generations, and the everyday beauty my mom instinctively documented. Over time, those images became something far more meaningful, especially as loved ones passed and life carried us in different directions.
Photography became a way for me to hold onto what mattered most.
