Emily and Blake had a beautiful and warm Engagement Session in Lansing this past fall. They are one of my 2026 Lillie Mae Wedding couples and are having a wedding at the beautiful Res Les Farms in East Leroy. It was so much fun getting to know these two during their engagement session and hear about their proposal story. We photographed their engagement photos at two parks in Lansing that are less than 20 minutes apart from each other.

We first started their session at Frances Park and took some beautiful garden photos with some pops of fall color starting to come in. After getting some fun candid images of them there we then proceeded to Hawk Island Park and took full advantage of the fall color that was provided for some golden hour evening photos. It was such a joy to have these two in front of my camera and I can’t wait for their wedding day!
